Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of globaldeal.app (the "Service"), run by GlobalDeal Inc. ("GlobalDeal," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What GlobalDeal Is

GlobalDeal is a free database of about 12.6 million company profiles in more than 180 countries. There are no subscriptions, paid plans or credits. The Service is funded by voluntary donations (see section 9).

2. Using GlobalDeal Without an Account

Anyone can search and filter the database without an account. Some features need a free account.

3. Free Accounts

  • You can sign up with any email address and a password, or with Google sign-in.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Give accurate information, keep your login details secret, and tell us through /request if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • With an account you can save companies into projects, export to Excel, use AI web search (10 searches per month), add companies and suggest edits.
  • You can delete your account at any time through the request form at /request.

4. How You May Use the Data

You may search, view, save and export company data for your own business use — for example research, sourcing, sales or finding partners. You must not:
  • Resell the data, redistribute it in bulk, or publish it as a dataset.
  • Use the data to build or improve a competing database or service.
  • Crawl, scrape or bulk-download the Service with bots or scripts, or get around export, search or rate limits.
  • Use the data in breach of the law, including anti-spam and data protection laws, when you contact businesses.

5. Usage Limits

To keep the Service free for everyone, we apply limits — for example on exports, on AI web search (10 searches per month), on new submissions, and rate limits on forms and the API. We may change these limits.

6. Contributions ("Add Company" and "Suggest an Edit")

You can add a company or suggest an edit on any company page, or with the pencil icon in the list. When you contribute, you agree that:
  • The information is accurate, is about a real business, and can be checked on the company's website or other public sources.
  • You do not submit personal data about private individuals.
  • You upload only the company's own logo.
  • You give GlobalDeal a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use, edit and publish your contribution.
  • We may publish, review, edit, revert or reject any contribution, and we keep a record of who submitted what.
AI checks each contribution against the company website: clear matches are published right away, doubtful ones go to a person, and junk is rejected.

7. Reporting Wrong or Illegal Content

If you see wrong information, use "Suggest an edit" on the company page. To report content you believe is illegal, or that breaks these Terms, use the request form at /request. Please include the page link, what the problem is and why. We review each report, tell you our decision and the reasons for it, and you can appeal within 30 days through the same form.
If we remove or reject your content, or restrict your account, we will tell you why. You can appeal that decision within 30 days through /request.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not:
  • Use the Service for fraud, phishing, scams or any other unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, defamatory or infringing content.
  • Impersonate another person or company, or create accounts to get around limits or a suspension.
  • Try to access other users' accounts, bypass security, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside the reporting process on our Security page.
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure, performance or availability.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.

9. Donations

  • Donations are voluntary and are made through Stripe on the Support page. Stripe's terms also apply to the payment.
  • A donation buys nothing: no features, no priority and no other benefit.
  • Donations are not tax-deductible. GlobalDeal is not a charity.
  • Donations are non-refundable, except for mistaken or unauthorised payments reported to us through /request within 30 days.

10. Data Accuracy and AI — Disclaimers

Company data comes from public sources, data providers and user contributions, and parts of it (such as summaries and tags) are written by AI. Revenue and employee figures are estimates. AI can be wrong. The data may be incomplete or out of date and is provided "as is". Nothing on the Service is legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. Check important details with the company itself before relying on them. See AI & Sources for details.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service's software, design and text, the way the database is put together, and the GlobalDeal name and logo belong to us. Company names, logos and trademarks shown on company profiles belong to their owners and are used only to identify those companies; this does not mean they endorse GlobalDeal. Feedback you send us can be used without any obligation to you.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service links to company websites and uses third-party services (for example Google sign-in and Stripe). We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Sanctions

You must not use the Service in breach of sanctions or export control laws that apply to you.

15. No Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS FREE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses arising from third-party claims caused by your breach of these Terms or by content you submit.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may limit, suspend or close accounts, or remove content, that break these Terms or the law, or that put the Service or other users at risk. We will tell you why and you can appeal (see section 7). You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as the contribution licence, disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue after termination.

19. Changes to the Service and These Terms

The Service is free and may change: we may add, change or remove features. We may also update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top; if a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.

20. Disputes

If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first through /request — most issues can be solved that way. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under mandatory consumer or data protection laws of the country where you live.

21. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and GlobalDeal Inc. about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a provision, we have not waived it.
