This page explains where the company data on GlobalDeal comes from, how we use AI, and what that means for how much you can rely on it.

1. What a Company Profile Contains

GlobalDeal has about 12.6 million company profiles in more than 180 countries. A profile can include:
  • Company name, website, country and city.
  • Industry, and products and services.
  • Employee range and revenue range — these are estimates.
  • Founding year.
  • LinkedIn company page URL and logo.
  • A short summary written by AI.
We do not show personal contact details of employees.

2. Where the Data Comes From

  • Company websites.
  • Business-data providers.
  • Public web search results — through Serper.dev, which returns Google results.
  • LinkedIn company pages — companies only, never people.
  • Logos — from logo.dev, Clearbit or Google favicons, or uploaded by users and reviewed before they appear.
  • User contributions — companies added and edits suggested by users.

3. How We Use AI

We use open AI models (gpt-oss and Llama) run by DeepInfra in the USA. AI is used to:
  • Write short company summaries from the information we have.
  • Tag industries and products so companies can be filtered and found.
  • Check contributions against the company website: clear matches are published right away, doubtful ones go to a person, and junk is rejected.
  • Run AI web search — it turns your question into Google searches (through Serper), reads the results and lists the companies it finds.

4. AI Web Search

AI web search is available with a free account, up to 10 searches per month. Your question is sent to DeepInfra and the search terms to Serper.dev. Please do not include personal or confidential information in your questions. Results are not endorsements or recommendations.

5. Limits — Please Read

  • AI can be wrong, and it can state wrong things confidently.
  • Revenue and employee ranges are estimates.
  • Data may be incomplete or out of date.
  • Nothing on GlobalDeal is legal, financial, investment or other professional advice.
  • Check important details on the company's own website before relying on them.

6. Human Review

Contributions that AI cannot clearly confirm are checked by a person. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on anyone solely by automated means. If you think AI got something wrong — for example it rejected your contribution — you can ask for a person to look at it through /request.

7. Corrections and Objections

  • Wrong data: press "Suggest an edit" on the company page, or the pencil icon in the list.
  • Removal or objection: if you want information removed or object to how it is processed, use the request form at /request. See our Privacy Notice for your rights.

8. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell data.
  • We do not show personal contact details of employees.
  • We do not collect data about people from LinkedIn — only company pages.
