About Teach For Uganda
Teach For Uganda is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing educational inequities in Uganda. The organization recruits and trains recent graduates and young professionals to teach in under-resourced schools across the country. By placing these leaders in classrooms, Teach For Uganda aims to provide quality education to all children, regardless of their socio-economic background. The program not only focuses on improving student outcomes but also on developing the leadership skills of its participants, who are encouraged to become advocates for educational reform in their communities. Through partnerships with local schools and communities, Teach For Uganda works to create sustainable change in the education sector, fostering a generation of leaders committed to social justice and equity in education.
