About Locality
Locality is a national network of community-led organizations in the UK, dedicated to supporting local communities and empowering them to take control of their own futures. Founded in 2011, Locality provides a range of services and resources to help community groups and organizations thrive. Their mission is to enable communities to be strong, sustainable, and resilient, fostering local leadership and encouraging community engagement. Locality offers training, advice, and support to help communities develop their own projects, manage assets, and create positive change in their neighborhoods. They also advocate for policies that support community-led initiatives and work to connect local organizations with each other to share best practices and resources. Through their work, Locality aims to build a more equitable society where communities have the power to shape their own destinies.
