About Gowex
Gowex was a Spanish telecommunications company that provided Wi-Fi services in public spaces, including cities, airports, and train stations. Founded in 2000, the company aimed to enhance connectivity and digital access for users in urban environments. It offered various services, including free Wi-Fi access, advertising solutions, and data analytics for businesses. Gowex expanded its operations internationally, establishing a presence in multiple countries. However, the company faced significant financial challenges and allegations of accounting fraud, leading to its bankruptcy in 2014.
