About Army Emergency Relief
Army Emergency Relief (AER) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to soldiers, veterans, and their families in times of need. Founded in 1942, AER offers a variety of programs including emergency financial aid, scholarships, and grants to support the well-being of Army personnel and their dependents. The organization operates through a network of local offices and works closely with military commands to identify and assist those in need. AER is committed to ensuring that no soldier or family member faces financial hardship alone, and it relies on donations and fundraising efforts to sustain its programs. The organization also engages in outreach and education to raise awareness about the resources available to service members and their families.
