About Studio Echelman
Studio Echelman is an innovative art studio founded by artist Janet Echelman, known for her large-scale, site-specific sculptures that blend art, architecture, and technology. The studio specializes in creating dynamic, aerial sculptures that respond to the environment, often incorporating light and movement. Echelman's work has been exhibited globally, transforming public spaces and engaging communities through her unique artistic vision. The studio collaborates with engineers, architects, and local communities to create installations that are not only visually stunning but also environmentally conscious. Echelman's sculptures are often made from lightweight materials, allowing them to sway and dance with the wind, creating a dialogue between nature and art. The studio's projects aim to inspire and provoke thought about the relationship between urban environments and the natural world.
