About Eu Fp7
The EU FP7 (Seventh Framework Programme) was a funding program established by the European Union to support research and technological development in various fields, including food production. It aimed to enhance Europe's global competitiveness and foster innovation by providing financial support for collaborative research projects across member states. The program focused on addressing societal challenges, promoting sustainable development, and encouraging the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in research activities. FP7 was succeeded by Horizon 2020, which continued the mission of funding research and innovation in Europe.
