About Canstructionpdx
Canstructionpdx is a non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to addressing hunger and food insecurity through innovative and creative food can sculptures. The organization hosts annual events where teams of architects, engineers, and designers compete to build impressive structures made entirely from canned goods. These structures are displayed in public spaces, and once the event concludes, all cans are donated to local food banks to support those in need. Canstructionpdx not only raises awareness about hunger issues but also encourages community involvement and collaboration among local businesses and organizations.
