About Body Worlds
Body Worlds is an exhibition of preserved human bodies and body parts that have been dissected and displayed in various poses to educate the public about anatomy, health, and the human body. The exhibition was created by Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who developed the technique of plastination, which preserves biological tissues. Body Worlds has toured internationally, showcasing the intricate details of human anatomy and promoting awareness of health and wellness. The exhibitions aim to inspire visitors to take better care of their bodies and understand the complexities of human biology. Body Worlds has been a significant contributor to the field of anatomical education and has sparked discussions about ethics in science and medicine.
