About Tamizdat Project
The Tamizdat Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of marginalized voices in literature. It focuses on translating and disseminating works that have been overlooked or suppressed, particularly from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. By providing a platform for these voices, Tamizdat aims to foster a greater understanding of diverse cultural narratives and encourage dialogue among different communities. The organization collaborates with translators, authors, and cultural institutions to facilitate the publication and distribution of these important works. Through its initiatives, Tamizdat seeks to empower writers and readers alike, ensuring that a wider audience has access to a rich tapestry of literary expression.
