About Tinkergarten
Tinkergarten is a pioneering organization dedicated to providing outdoor, play-based learning experiences for children aged 18 months to 8 years. Founded in 2012, Tinkergarten aims to foster a love of learning and connection to nature through its innovative curriculum that emphasizes exploration, creativity, and social skills. The program is designed to engage children in meaningful play while also supporting their development in key areas such as problem-solving, collaboration, and emotional intelligence. Tinkergarten classes are led by trained leaders who facilitate outdoor sessions in local parks and backyards, creating a community of families who value the importance of outdoor play. The organization also offers resources for parents and educators to encourage play-based learning at home. With a mission to make outdoor learning accessible to all families, Tinkergarten has expanded its reach across the United States, providing a unique alternative to traditional early childhood education.
