IRD®, Industrial Research & Development, LLC specializes in machinery that assists in the repair of industrial equipment and is the industry standard for soft-bearing balancing technology and electric motor core loss testing. In 1952, IRD introduced the the industrial market to the first portable balancing instrument and vibration analyzer giving us 60+ years of balancing experience in which to engineer and manufacture the quality solution for any balancing application. IRD also designed and produced the industry first core loss tester under the brand name LEXSECO in 1978, leading way to establish core loss testing as an industry standard quality test for electric motor repair. With our longevity and our continuing proactive product development, IRD is guaranteed to continue to be the best source for expertise and equipment in industrial equipment repair.
