About Spaceil
SpaceIL is an Israeli non-profit organization founded to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through space exploration. The organization is best known for its Beresheet lunar lander, which aimed to land on the Moon and conduct scientific experiments. SpaceIL's mission is to promote education in science and technology, and to demonstrate that small nations can achieve significant milestones in space exploration. The Beresheet lander, launched in 2019, was the first privately funded spacecraft to attempt a lunar landing, showcasing innovative engineering and technology. Despite the lander's crash landing on the Moon, SpaceIL continues to pursue its goals and plans for future missions, including potential collaborations with other space agencies and organizations.
