About Just Transition Alliance
The Just Transition Alliance (JTA) is a coalition of organizations and individuals dedicated to ensuring that the transition to a sustainable economy is equitable and just for all communities. Founded on the principles of social justice, the JTA works to address the needs of workers and communities that are impacted by the shift away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy sources. The alliance promotes policies and practices that support a just transition, advocating for fair labor practices, community engagement, and environmental justice. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, including labor unions, environmental groups, and community organizations, the JTA aims to create a sustainable future that prioritizes the well-being of all people, particularly those historically marginalized in economic and environmental decision-making.
